Job Description

1. Design and Development:

2. Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct research to develop innovative technologies or improve existing mechanical systems.
  • Perform analysis to ensure mechanical designs are efficient, reliable, and cost-effective.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and functionality of a design using tools such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

3. Project Management:

  • Lead or participate in project teams, collaborating with other engineers, manufacturers, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the project’s progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Manage documentation, technical specifications, and compliance with standards.

4. Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Design and implement testing protocols for mechanical systems.
  • Analyze test results to identify any system deficiencies.
  • Ensure quality control by implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement processes.

5. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  • Identify issues in mechanical systems and develop solutions.
  • Perform regular maintenance and recommend upgrades or modifications.
  • Work with other teams to troubleshoot and repair equipment or machinery.

6. Manufacturing Oversight:

  • Work closely with production teams to ensure the mechanical systems or products are manufactured to specifications.
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

7. Documentation and Reporting:
